Ziyarah Information

How ziyarah usually works and what a typical itinerary includes.

What ziyarah includes

Ziyarah is included in our standard packages and covers visits to important Islamic historical and spiritual sites in Makkah and Madinah.

In Makkah that commonly means Jabal al-Nour, Jabal Thawr, Masjid Aisha and, outside the Hajj season, the plains of Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat. In Madinah it usually means Masjid Quba, Masjid al-Qiblatain, Mount Uhud and the Seven Mosques.

How it usually runs

Ziyarah is typically a half-day trip by coach or minibus with a guide, scheduled between prayer times. Exact itineraries depend on timing, transport, group size and local arrangements on the day.

Making the most of it

Carry water, wear shade-friendly clothing, and remember that none of these visits is an obligation of Umrah. Go at the pace that suits your group — reflection matters far more than ticking off a list.
